“We spent a lot of time conceptualizing this album, deeply considering where we wanted to take our music and what its natural progression should be,” vocalist and bass player Amy Barrysmith explains. “We devoted considerable attention and time to the writing and pre-production phases, making sure it was exactly where it needed to be before going into the studio. And we think it paid off. The songs capture our unique style, moving between the personal and fantastical, honing in on both our sludge and doom tendencies as well as our punk rock background. We are extremely proud of this album and think it is our best work to date. We hope that you will enjoy it too.”
