SCALPTURE unleash the track ‘Til Jeret Undergang‘ (Danish: “Until Your Demise”) as the final advance single taken from their new full-length “Landkrieg” (“Land Warfare”). The fourth album of the German death metal soldiers of fortune has been chalked up for release on March 7, 2025.

On ‘Landkrieg’ that track is ‘Til Jeret Undergang’, which has a Danish title, which means ‘to your downfall’. The song’s lyrics revolve around Denmark’s involvement in the Thirty Years’ War. ‘Til Jeret Undergang’ started out as a bunch of loosely connected riffs and ideas that developed into a catchy, atmospheric track with a compelling, driving energy over time. In the final part, it delivers exactly what its title promises. I am proud that we made this song work and I can hardly wait to try it out live on stage!” Here comes the German death metal tank again, crushing and smashing, bulldozing all resistance into oblivion and breaking through the lines. Still, war has been and is all they want to sing about. This time, it is not just one of the usual war topics but each song on “Landkrieg” revolves around the 30 Years’ War that devastated the German lands from 1618 until 1648 – after the Habsburg emperor pushed his lands ‘Into Catastrophe’ by trying to force all his subjects to become Catholic again in the long wake of the reformation. On “Landkrieg”, SCALPTURE stay true to their deadly roots but their sound has been refined by endless hours on the road, playing more shows, and many days and nights well spent in the rehearsing space and at Hellforge Studio. The new songs are brutal, hard-hitting, and 100% death metal but leave room for variety and cool twists.
