WITCH RIPPER announce US shows 2025

American melodic sludge metal outfit WITCH RIPPER have announced the Spring Tour 2025 with 16 dates across the West Coast of the United States in support of their latest album “The Flight after the Fall”, released March 3, 2023. Get ready to hear hot new material, too!
WITCH RIPPER comment: “We’re incredibly excited to hit the west coast again this spring,” vocalist and guitarist Curtis Parker states. “We’ve been hunkered down all winter putting the finishing touches on our next crazy sci-fi concept album and we wanted to get out, test some new material, and play a bunch of killer shows before we hit the studio in June!”

WITCH RIPPER have created a loving pastiche of the legendary pulp science fiction stories of old. The story on their sophomore full-length “The Flight after the Fall” includes a mad professor, his dying wife, cryogenic chambers, a black hole, and themes of love, failure, loss, and acceptance.
Musically, WITCH RIPPER have packed “The Flight After the Fall” with aggression, intricate guitar interplay, subtle synths, and cosmic atmospherics, as well as catchy clean vocal hooks. They maintain their brutal roots while embracing the arena rock bombast of QUEEN and DAVID BOWIE, and the modern prog of COHEED AND CAMBRIA and MUSE.
Born in Seattle in 2012, WITCH RIPPER have blended the contemporary heaviness of MASTODON, GOJIRA, and BARONESS with the anthemic quality of classic rock. Their debut “Homestead” (2018) garnered critical acclaim. They have performed alongside MONOLORD, CONAN, RUBY THE HATCHET, SLIPKNOT, and more.
Approaching their music in true American fashion: big riffs, bigger hooks, and a standout drummer, WITCH RIPPER re-emerge into the guitar-driven US metal scene with “The Flight After the Fall”.
