LO-PAN comment on ‘Northern Eyes’: “Northern eyes is about light vs. dark and the ongoing war for hearts and minds,” vocalist Jeff Martin explains. “This song is a great example of how we like to balance odd time signatures with steady rhythms to keep things sounding like waves crashing,” bass player Scott Thompson adds. “I love playing this song live because of the wide open cymbal work that just turns to distorted noise,” drummer Jesse Bartz gets the final word. |
